If you build it, the Internet will come. Facebook has been making progress on their new 290,000 square foot data center 20 miles south of the arctic circle in Lulea, Sweeden. Utlitizing the cold climate for cooling offsets and a nearby source of hydro-electric power, the new facility will consume a whopping 120 megawatts of electricity - enough to power 16,000 homes.
